"Sheppard, wake up."

John felt heavy and warm and dazed. "Huh?"

"Wake up, Colonel - you fell asleep. I didn't even realize you were over here. Why are you sleeping in the corner? What were you waiting for? Did you need something?"

"Yeah," John said, wrapping himself around Rodney, pulling him close and burying his head against Rodney's chest. "Yeah."

John held onto Rodney, who was stiff as a board for a long minute. Rodney swallowed loudly, then brought one hand up to lightly touch John's face.

John felt him relax and whisper, "Oh," before kissing him lightly on the top of his head.

"Yeah," John murmured.
